This reversible drawstring tote bag is very popular on youtube at the moment. I designed this bag to be simple, modern and stylish yet still perfect for every day use. Its perfect for carrying essentials and is easy to fit in most spaces.
I've made this bag very simple to make and the tutorial is beginner friendly. Its a very popular video of mine as it has over 2 million views. The comment section is filled with people saying how much they loved and enjoyed the bag, so I hope its perfect for you.
I tried to make this bag as useful as possible so I made it reversible and I chose a leatherette handle which makes it look very chic. This gift is absolutely perfect as a gift for your friends or family or even as a gift for a harworking mum as yourself.
WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS BAG:
1. Sewing machine, If you don't have one you can look for some HERE
2. Fabric, You can use any fabric that you like for this bag!
3. Interfacing, The interfacing keeps the bag in the shape, and for this project I'm using a medium one.
4. Needle, In this projuct I'm using medium fabric so I use the needle number 80
5. Thread, I recommend that you use a strong cotton thread as it keeps the bag together for longer.
6. Leatherette, I used leatherette for the bag handle, but you can use any fabric of your choice.
7. Drawstring
8. Hot glue or strong glue, This is to stick the little leatherette piece to the bottom of the bag. BUt if you want a stroger hold you could just stitch it.
